Retail Store Manager (Full Time)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to join our expanding team here in Designer Exchange. We are located in the heart of Dublin City Centre, on Exchequer Street. This is a permanent, full time position with a 3 month probationary period. The ideal candidate will be confident, personable, driven & honest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day to day running of the store, and maintain store standards, visual merchandising and overall store presentation.
• Drive sales targets through excellent customer service, and inspiring the team around you.
• Manage your team, ensuring they are up to date daily on targets and KPI’s, while also delegating daily tasks.
• Deliver feedback to Senior Management daily, ensuring you give honest and accurate information that they can use to make improvements where necessary.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere for both customers and your team, by always being approachable and available to assist.
• Collaborate with the Online Department to drive store traffic and sales.
• Great people management, where by you have the ability to deal with difficult situations and resolve them appropriately.
• Motivate your team by showing initiative and innovation in setting customer care standards.

Requirements:

• Must have experience in a retail managerial role
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to maintain and also improve our current processes and procedures
• Experience in luxury retail is preferred, but not required. However, the candidate must be passionate about luxury brands and the circular economy.
• A strong passion for customer service and bricks and mortar retail
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to delegate, motivate and manage their team
• Must be on a reliable commuter line to Dublin City Centre
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays & extended hours during busy periods
• Must be comfortable in front of the camera and taking part in content for social media.
